Driven to Play – Maitland Ford Lincoln: Application Guidelines
- Eligibility Criteria
- The initiative is open to families within the Maitland Ford Lincoln community who face financial barriers in covering sports team fees or purchasing sports equipment for those teams.
- Children and youth (ages 5–18) who wish to participate in local, organized sports are eligible.
- Applicants must reside in the local area served by Maitland Ford Lincoln.
- Required Documentation
- Completed application form (available on our website or at the Maitland Ford dealership).
- Proof of enrollment or acceptance in a sports program, team, or league (e.g., confirmation email, registration document).
- Application Process
- Step 1: Complete the application form with necessary details, including personal information, child’s sports interests, and requested amount.
- Step 2: Await confirmation from our team. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and eligible recipients will be notified within 2–3 weeks.
- Selection and Fund Allocation
- Funds are distributed based on need, with priority given to first-time applicants.
- For registration fees, approved funds will be paid directly to the sports organization to cover the child’s registration or participation fees.
- For sports equipment purchase, approved funds will be paid directly to the store/retail location.
- Application Deadlines
- Applications are open year-round. However, to ensure funding before a sports season begins, please apply at least one month before the start date.

- We encourage families who benefit from this initiative to stay involved by sharing their stories, inspiring others, and building a community of support.
